people. A new app called Minu enables just that. Read more about it.
What is Minu?
Minu is an iOS and Android social movie app that allows users to watch movies together in watch party rooms. Users can discuss in group chats, share the chats, follow each other, and more.
Join Watch Party Rooms and Follow Users
Minu allows users to connect with their YouTube, Prime, HBO
Max, Hulu, and Disney+ accounts. Then users can find movies to watch together
with other users. The app divides them into different genres, and you can also
search for movies or TV shows by keyword.
Once you join a watch party room, you can send a text and
the group chat. Alternatively, you can share the chat room and invite friends
to watch together. If you want to get notifications about new watch parties,
simply enable them in the settings. And if some user looks interesting to you,
you can follow them and their watch parties.

and sounds like a good option to meet new people and enhance social connections
