Eager to learn more about Fallout 4's
first DLC? You won't have to wait much longer, apparently. Bethesda
today teased on Twitter that news about the first of the game's
expansions will be announced soon. Additionally, the studio said it is
planning a "complete overhaul" of the RPG's Survival mode.
We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.— BethesdaGameStudios (@BethesdaStudios) February 11, 2016
We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.— BethesdaGameStudios (@BethesdaStudios) February 11, 2016
Fallout 4's DLC was announced back in September, before the game was even released. At the time, Bethesda said it didn't know what form the expansions would take, only that they would deliver $40 of value in a $30 package. The first of these expansions is due for launch this year.
By comparison, Bethesda released five paid DLC expansions for Fallout 3.
These were Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout,
and Mothership Zeta. They all came with new quests, items, achievements,
and more. You can probably expect the same from Fallout 4's DLC.
